The TMD Essentials: Chic Little Objects

In my world, the smaller the object the better.

For my second installment of Chic Things, I thought there would be nothing better to share than my bonafide guide to the TMD Essentials of Chic Little Objects. These little objects truly spark so much joy for me and have been so fun to include more within my content (and life of course). These are the chic things that make brain buzz, so let me know if you want to see more within this category!

For the Chic Sink:

I’m determined to make chic sinks a thing. Nothing brings me more joy than a tiny vanity item thats good and simultaneously chic. Here are my sink-side essentials:

Chanel blush compact, Chanel mirror (the yellow is so good), Crown Affair brush No. 002, Crown Affair comb, Chanel hand cream (expensive but the absolute chicest), Chanel lip/ cheek balm (the best thing I’ve ever put on my face), Kevin Aucoin eyelash curler (nothing chicer and an actual top rated product), love Acca Cappa toothbrushes, La Bouche Rouge powder and eyeshadow brush, Saie lipgloss & lastly Chanel cuticle oil.

For the Chic Traveler:

I have loved seeing how many of you have adopted the personalized waffled makeup bag into your lives. The opportunities for them are endless, not to mention they make the BEST gift - for yourself or for others. I personally just made myself a chocolate brown one with white initials embroidered….now I don’t have to worry about getting it dirty when I travel. Emi Jay hair clips are also always coming with me when I travel as well- love their buttercream, red, and Bordeaux colors.

For the Chic Vanity: Hairbrushes

One of my favorite chic little objects has become a good hairbrush, here are my essentials:

My absolute favorite is the No. 002 brush from Crown Affair. It gives the most amazing scalp massage while being simultaneously chic… looks and practicality! My latest hairbrush obsession is from the French brand La Bonne Brosse- I personally think this brush is a work of art, including their round brush as well. Would also make a wonderful gift for a chic friend who you don’t know what to gift. For combs, I love Crown Affairs No. 001 and No. 002 .

The Chic Tiny’s:

No surprise to me to see how much the Maison Buly products have blown up. I’ve been shopping with them since 2017 and have only increased my collection through out the years- they make the best tiny and chic gift and I am constantly getting questions on what they are, and where they are from. For anyone visiting Paris, please do me a favor and visit their store in Saint-Germain-Des-Pres. For more personalized little things, I love Papier custom cardstock as well.

For the Girl on the Go:

For anyone on the go, especially in winter, I have been obsessed with these J Crew cashmere lined gloves since I got them. For the inside of a bag, no one does chic makeup better than Victoria Beckham. The product design of the lipgloss lives in my head rent free. Vintage Celine sunnies are always a must, a chic hair clip comes with me no matter where I go, usually this one from Emi Jay, and have been eyeing this one by Sophie Buhai. While I rarely show them, a chic sock makes an outfit so much better in my opinion- I love wearing J Crew cashmere socks with any outfit to feel put together and elevated.
