One of the biggest asks when launching this Substack was to show more of the styling side of the house. With our next drop (aka our sale) coming up on the 2nd, I thought I would take this opportunity to pick out some pairs I’m drawn to and style an outfit around each one!
When sourcing shoes for our drops, I’m almost always running through the ways each shoe can be worn-similar to my consideration for anything new in my wardrobe.
I hope you enjoy! Let me know which heels you have your eye on :)
The Shoe: Snakeskin Chanel Heels
When I sourced these Chanel’s I immediately pictured them with jeans and a white tee. Chanel rarely does any red shoes- so let alone a snakeskin red… I knew these would be a rare find. I think with any trench or overcoat these would look wonderful with (it was just a plus I had one to match).
The Shoe: Manolo Mary Janes
The silhouette of these Manolos is probably the most flattering Mary-Jane shape you’ll find. I have sourced this style of Manolo over and over as I find it so beautiful. These are a size 35.5 but run BIG fyi. This was an outfit I randomly put together that I’ve never worn before, but definitely will be! Something about a button down and long skirt is so chic to me (I call it religious-chic).
The Shoe: Manolo Two-Toned Heels
Immediately upon seeing these Manolo’s I thought of Carrie Bradshaw- she would DEFINITELY have these in her closet. I wore this exact outfit with these heels last week and felt great. They’re the type of shoes that make your foot look extremely flattering and love that they can be worn up or down. Have also tried these with jeans and a white tee. Highly considered keeping these heels but would rather share them with you.
The Heels: Tom Ford Gucci Bow Heels
I get requests to privately source these heels literally all the time. They’re a perfect barely-there heel are extremely depictive of Tom Fords style while he was at Gucci. They’re incredibly rare to find these days so I’m so happy to have them included in the sale!
The Shoe: Manolo Bow Lace Up Heels
These heels are THE Carrie heels to me. They’ve never been worn and I find them very special. Perfect spring/summer heel.
The Shoe: Chanel Suede Flats
A jean-on-jean outfit is always a good idea in my book either with heels or flats. These purple Chanel flats are insane- both the color and silhouette. If these were my size, I would have kept them in a heartbeat. Royal purple is an incredibly rare color for Chanel to do in a shoe so I was so excited to source these. Also think royal purple will absolutely blow up as a trendy color for accessories in the coming months as well.
The Shoe: Champagne Satin Chanel Heels
Something about this color of satin with jeans and white tee or jumper is so perfect to me. Remember that outfit Carrie wears to her courthouse wedding? I feel like these heels are the embodiment of her silk “brand-less” (it was actually Dior) suit. They’re perfectly understated and chic.
The Shoe: Chanel Mules
These Chanel mules are perfect and a request we get to source often. I love that they can go with anything and are a tad more dressed up than a flat but don’t make you commit to a full heel.
The Shoe: Manolo Strap Heels
I love the tiny buckles on these. Manolo does an amazing tiny strap on their heels which make a shoe so much more flattering and special imo.
The Heels: Manolo Croc Slingbacks
These heels I also highly considered keeping. They truly go with everything, can be worn dressed up or down, and are incredibly comfortable. I love the croc leather effect as well and find them extremely chic.
The Shoe: Manolo Flower Mules
These Manolo’s feel very summertime to me. They’re a perfect mule in my book- I’ve worn these with jeans and a button down in the past and it looks extremely chic. Mirror Palais sort of made these heels a holy-grail and I see their imagery of them on Pinterest, so finding these Manolos is always a major moment when they rarely pop up.
Love every pair and seeing you style them!
Omg the royal purple remind me of my reception shoes from my wedding when colored shoes were a thing back in 2012 👏🏽 haha love the selects! The gold manolos are stunning
