I was last in Paris in November 2024. During my time there, I was on a continuous anthropological adventure to find out what the actual chic french women were wearing and doing. I asked friends and Parisian natives alike and discovered many great things. There was Talmaris- an appointment only shop of deliciously curated homeware pieces from around the world. Bon Marche- where the French are actually shopping (although I am still partial to Galleries Lafayette). Ojii- a hidden gem with about ten tables that’s one of the chicest places to eat right now, known by Parisians more than tourists (I wonder how long that’ll last). And finally, almost every time I saw a line for clothing, it was at Sézane.
As I spent time in Paris, it was clearly evident that Sézane is the go-to for the chicest French women. And I understand why…
Sézane represents what Parisian woman (and women everywhere really) are actually looks for: comfort, quality, and strong timeless design. Sézane’s pieces are the perfect staples for an every day wardrobe that plays on the silhouettes many American companies can never quite get right. This year one of my personal goals was only to invest in pieces that I could see myself wearing forever- one of those companies making it easy for me is Sézane.
I’ll be heading to NYC in a few days and I must admit packing for fashion week x Valentine’s Day weekend x the cold isn’t an easy feat. Here’s everything I’m packing for my week in the city, c/o Sézane! Plus a little guide of my NYC favorites..
I hope you enjoy!
