My Sneaker Roundup
Hoping this inspires me to work out again.
As someone who is known today for an entire business around heels, it usually comes as a surprise when I tell people I’m in sneakers 99.9% of the time.
In fact, I have never been much of a heels girl. I have pronation, flat feet, and have lower back pain here and there. Which means that sneakers and comfort is my go-to most of the time.
Of course, I love and admire both my heels and all of the heels I source for others. Nothing brings me more pleasure than what I do in my world of vintage heels. However, what I’ve realized is that as much as we love our heels….we also love our sneakers and comfort.
We saw the massive explosion of Adidas sambas the last 2-3 years and I constantly am getting asked what sneakers I’m wearing or recommending. I’ve been seeing a ton of discourse around what the next ‘it’ shoe is. And I’ve been thinking about that as well. Thus, welcome to my roundup of sneakers I’m obsessed with and how I’d wear each one. New Balance 2002R
I was never a New Balance girl until I got my 2002R’s. I have a pair in a dark forrest green and absolutely love them. I understand why dad’s love New Balances- they’re so so comfortable and I find this sneaker the perfect in-between a casual pair and work-out shoe. The suede is so chic and elevated to me, in any color.
Same pair as the charcoal above just in brown! I think this color makes the sneaker/ look a bit more elevated and immediately pictured this shoe with a trench.
Ok sorry I had to add another color version of the 2002R. I think this color is perfect for spring/ summer and absolutely love the mix of white, orange, and navy blue.
Salomon XT-6
This outfit is literally my daily uniform. I wear both the Chan Luu earrings and Dorsey necklace daily with some variation of a sink pant or legging…with these Salomons of course. I would grab before they sell out on the Salomon site again. Since receiving this pair early last month as a birthday gift, I have literally worn these sneakers every single day. They are the MOST lightweight and comfortable. They fit like a literal glove and absolutely love that they can be worn more casually, elevated, with workout clothes- anything! I’m obsessed with Salomons and find that they are cheapest directly on the site, just stay aware of re-stocks!
For the darker-toned dressers! If I were to invest in another pair of Salomon’s, it would be these…and still in stock which is a win-win.
New Balance 1906R
These New Balances have been on my wishlist for quite some time. I love how different they look and absolutely love a dark red/ silver/ beige color combo. It’s hard to tell who makes these sneakers, and I love that about them.

I find a metallic/ silver sneaker so chic. I have never been stopped more than when I’m wearing my silver adidas sambas and find these New Balances a great alternative option for something (much more) comfortable yet equally sporty/chic and decently priced .
