Hello! I’ve just got back after being gone from LA for a month (boy was that refreshing). I took the month to spend some time in Europe for a wedding, a brand trip, some inspiration, and some good old time off. I haven’t really taken a proper vacation in about a year- so this felt MUCH needed and I feel so incredibly blessed that I was able to take this incredible trip. Every time I stay somewhere it serves as an inspiration for me and boy did it do just that.
As this post would go over the limit if I recapped everywhere I went, I’ll be adding all my travel recommendations to my favorite travel app, Amigo. This app is one of my favorite’s to exist on my phone - it features all the best recommendations from the best people (editors, designers, tastemakers, etc.) around the world. The app is full of hidden gems from sleepwear stores to vintage to the most special hotels. Believe me when I say- getting on this app is worth it (I can’t believe its free). Truly, all the best places we went during the trip were from Amigo. As the app typically has a waitlist, my friends at Amigo gave us a code for you to skip the line. You can download the app here and use TMDGO to get in!
Now- for the fun stuff. Where I went, what I wore, where I shopped, and stayed.
The Summer Dressing Wardrobe Winners:
Polka dots. Like I said, It’s going to be a polka dot summer (see Polka Dot Palooza here). Polka dots, no matter the season look good on everyone and are always flattering in my opinion. Honorary mention for the Stella McCartney dress that’s my favorite thing in my closet- sold out but found one on eBay for you here! Run don’t walk.
The Row Signum Heels- these heels will be worn all seasons for me but I gained a much deeper appreciation for them after traveling with them as my only pair of heels for a month. They were worn: to a wedding, after walking 20K steps, and with every single dress I packed. Not only are these heels extremely versatile, but also extremely comfortable which is a very important point for me. Size 42 here and 36.5 here.
